A fellow textile exhibitor at Art in Action....Roanna Wells. She works with tiny little seed like stitches leaving seemingly random patterns - look out for her unpicked embroideries which have been shortlisted for the Jerwood drawing prize.

A very busy few days at 'A in A' (at Waterperry House, Oxon for those who don't know). Loads of ideas for new work....starting with a series cyanotype letters and postcards. Lots of good feedback on these.....more coming soon!

A few paper prints so far - next step will be transferring this technique to fabric....

Just spotted these printed pebbles by Clare Mahoney. She will be exhibiting at The Contemporary Craft Fair in Bovey Tracey, Devon this June - definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

For those interested in photography without cameras, this exhibition at the V&A is stunning. My favourites are these haunting photograms by Adam Fuss. Exhibition runs until the 20th Feb - catch it while you can...

Saw some new work by artist Steven Emmanuel last week at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland. I particularly liked this piece called 'Separating the Hundreds from the Thousands'.
If only I had the time......
